Phone Bridge Lite — Sin & Sarah

This is an add-on, not a standalone app. It needs a companion you already run — the Starter House, or your own home server. What it gives you is the useful first version of "my companion, on my phone," without the cost and overhead of a native app: a polished phone surface for texting it, speaking to it from the browser, and hearing it answer.

It ships as a drop-in static phone app with two backend profiles — Starter House, and a V2 / home runtime — plus a built-in connection tester so you can confirm it's talking to your companion. Install it into a companion folder and open /phone-bridge/ from your phone. It does not edit your backend — it just copies the phone surface in.

02What it looks like running

You open a web address on your phone, tap "Add to Home Screen," and your companion is a tap away — with a one-tap light/dark toggle.

03What you need

A coding agent

You don't have to be a coder — but you will need a coding agent to do the setup with you: Claude Code or Codex. Every kit ships an agent-ready AGENT-START-HERE.md you hand straight to it.

A running companion

This connects to a companion you already run (Starter House or your own home server) — it is not itself a companion. Plus Node.js to run the one-line installer. A coding agent makes the wiring painless; the INSTALL-WITH-CODEX-OR-CLAUDE.md doc is written for it.
